Black Bear

This cinnamon black bear was seen at the Bear Mountain Zoo in NY.  I was fascinated to learn that black bears in the wild can give birth to black or brown colored bears.  Most times, however, the mother leaves the brown cub to fend for itself, which is why they are so rarely seen in the wild.

Fine Art America TV Update
